My dear and cherished sons and daughters — young students seeking the pleasure of God — know that the path you have chosen belongs to the inheritors of the prophets and the holy saints of Allah (swt). While it is the best and shortest path to divine pleasure, it also places a very heavy responsibility upon your shoulders.

Acquiring divine sciences and knowledge is a great trust of Allah (swt) upon human society. It is your precise and certain duty to exert utmost effort and diligence in pursuing this knowledge. Be aware that these sciences are priceless treasures; there is no treasure or bounty equal to them in this world. As Imam Baqir (a) is narrated to have said: “Go and search in the east or the west, but you will never find correct knowledge except for that which comes forth from us, the Ahl al-Bayt.”
